XanthoMyst Test Results

The provided transcript is a video introduction of a new product discovery called “Xanthomyst”  offering high bio-deliverability of xanthones derived from mangosteen pericarp into the body using a proprietary 10x pure Nano Emulsion technology. The video describes how the mangosteen fruit has been hailed for its health-promoting properties for thousands of years, but until recently, only a small amount of the xanthones were able to be absorbed into the body.

XanthoMyst Video

The video presents Xanthomyst as the fastest-acting, most bioavailable, and potent mangosteen product on the market, delivering 5,000 parts per million of Alpha mangosteen-derived xanthones per serving, compared to 7.5 parts per million for a capsule powdered product and 1.5 parts per million for a mangosteen juice product. The video suggests that the benefits of Xanthomyst include supporting the immune system, cardiovascular system, brain function, intestinal health, and blood sugar levels, as well as promoting a healthy inflammatory response and protecting the body from germs and toxins.

Diabetes II – XANTHOMYST a solution?

If you have Diabetes II, before you make a decision, you should research the information provided in this report, and discuss it with your doctor. I have carefully researched this information and believe it to be accurate, however, I am not a doctor and have presented this for informational purposes only and not as medical advice to anyone. –Glenn Mitch Sitter

A Possible Solution for Chronic Inflammation Caused by Diabetes

The impact of combining xanthones derived from mangosteen pericarp extract with nanoemulsion technology for use in the management of inflammation.

Let’s start with a simplified description of diabetes, the resulting effects of inflammation, and the likely results if untreated.

Diabetes is a state in which the pancreas becomes unable to produce enough insulin to manage blood sugar levels. When cells don’t interact in a normal way with insulin, they don’t take in enough sugar and the pancreas must continuously produce greater and greater amounts of insulin until the cellular need for insulin surpasses the pancreas’ ability to produce it.

Meanwhile, the insulin produced in the pancreas at maximum levels creates irritation of the pancreatic cells and inflammation begins. This inflammation unchecked, can eventually scar the pancreas and render it unable to function. As the inflammation spreads, other organs are affected.

In the kidneys, diabetes-related inflammation can lead to further damage to the already compromised kidneys, leading to kidney failure.

Diabetes-related inflammation in the eyes can cause redness, swelling, and pain, and if left untreated can cause vision loss or even blindness.

Diabetes-related inflammation of the heart is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, and other health issues. When the heart is inflamed, it can become stiff and thick, which can lead to heart failure. This is why people with diabetes are at a higher risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Inflammation also disrupts the normal functioning of the heart, leading to other complications such as arrhythmias and inflammation of the pericardial sack. Furthermore, chronic inflammation can lead to the formation of plaque and blockages in the arteries, which can cause a heart attack.

Diabetes-related inflammation in the nerves can cause loss of sensation and if not managed quickly, can lead to permanent damage to the nervous system, eventually resulting in paralysis. Whether induced by diabetes, chronic stress, obesity, or autoimmune disorders, a chronic state of inflammation can lead to numerous health problems, including heart disease, arthritis, depression, Alzheimer’s disease, and even cancer.

Without proper treatment, inflammation in these organs can have long-term and eventually life-threatening consequences.

Dealing With Inflammation

“Inflammation is present in virtually every disease and unchecked is life-ending.”

OTC and Prescription Drugs

The historic response to inflammation by modern medicine has been the use of NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) in both over-the-counter and prescription-strength drugs. OTC (Over-The-Counter) NSAIDs include pills like aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen sodium, while celecoxib (Celebrex) is an example of a prescription drug.

These drugs block inflammatory proteins in the body, called COX-1 and COX-2, to cut inflammation and ease pain. That reduces swelling and fevers, too. Aspirin, unlike other NSAIDs, also prevents your blood from forming clots, which can protect you from heart attacks and strokes. The others may actually promote clots.

These inflammation/painkillers are for short-term use. You shouldn’t take them for more than 10 days for pain and 3 days for fever. If you take them for too long, you are at higher risk for side effects. If you feel you need to take NSAIDs regularly for arthritis pain, talk to your doctor to be sure it’s safe for you. In some people, NSAIDs can cause stomach pain, nausea, bleeding, ulcers, gas, bloating, diarrhea, or constipation. NSAIDs other than aspirin can also raise your risk of heart attack or stroke, even after just 1 week.

Stomach problems are the most common complaint people have about these drugs. To avoid nausea or a belly ache, take your NSAID with food, milk, or antacids. Your doctor can also prescribe acid-controlling medicine to take with NSAIDs to protect your stomach and prevent ulcers.

Some people who can’t tolerate the stomach-related problems that NSAIDs may cause can use prescription celecoxib instead. NSAIDs block two types of COX enzymes, including one that also protects your stomach. Celecoxib only blocks the COX enzyme that causes inflammation and pain. However, high doses of celecoxib could still cause side effects like bleeding.

NSAIDs Addiction, Side Effects

Side effects and complications of NSAIDs are common and serious. In one study, the risk of NSAIDs adverse drug reactions was found to be 26% (Gor 2011). Complications include upper gastrointestinal bleeding and ulcers, heartburn, ringing in the ears, headaches, dizziness, liver or kidney problems, leg swelling, high blood pressure, heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and death.

In June of 1999, The New England Journal of Medicine estimated that 16,500 NSAID-related deaths occur among Americans with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis every year (Wolfe 1999).

Over 100,000 NSAIDs users are hospitalized per year for gastrointestinal complications. A review of 17 studies found that 11% of preventable drug-related hospital admissions could be attributed to NSAIDs (Howard 2007). In 2005, U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a public health advisory warning people of the increased cardiovascular risks of NSAIDS, and again in 2007 they published a medication guide for NSAIDs recommending the lowest dose possible for patients using these drugs.

Bioavailability – The Argument Against Herbal Drug Alternatives and the Supplement Industry

95% of your herbal supplement never reaches your bloodstream meaning you have to consume questionable, even dangerous quantities to achieve a result.

Bioavailability is the greatest problem facing the supplement industry today. The most bioavailable supplements are only 5% efficient, meaning that approximately 95% of what you put into your mouth never makes it across the gut and into the bloodstream. Even less makes it into cells to be used in metabolism which is the total of all biological chemical processes necessary to sustain life.

“Let’s face it, if inflammation were an animal, it would be an apex predator!”

Nanotechnology is the doorway to the resolution of Inflammation

Nanotechnology has solved this problem virtually completely; however, to appreciate how this is done we need to look a little bit deeper into how chemical reactions occur.

All chemical reactions take place between two or more particles. All chemical reactions occur only at the surface of interacting particles. Therefore, the surface area of particles available for reaction is the single most important factor in chemical reactivity. Finally, the surface area is inversely related to the size of the reacting particles. Expressed differently, the smaller the particle size, the greater the surface area available for reactions to take place.

As an example, if a large apple has 6 square inches of surface area, chewing it into pieces will increase its size to approximately the surface area of a pickleball court. Then, if the churning of the stomach breaks the apple into applesauce size particles, the surface area may increase to the size of a basketball court. Finally, if we reduce the size of the particles of the apple to the nanoscale, we have a surface area as great as the whole town in which the football field or pickleball court is located!

Size Matters

According to the developing team, the answer is YES!

Keep in mind, generally, the smallest size the human eye can see is about the size of dust at about 25 microns or larger. XanthoMyst nanoemulsion is as tiny as 0.45 microns or less and the liposomes that release the mangosteen xanthones and nutrients are up to ten times smaller.

“We see evidence of the 0.45-micron size because the entire emulsion passes through a 0.45-micron mesh filter without separating or coming apart while remaining stable.”

Size in bioavailability also matters outside the lab for another reason……absorption. Only really small particles get across the gut to the bloodstream. Only small micronized or nanosized particles make it into cells to be used by the body. But if those infinitesimally small particles go into the mouth, the vast majority pass through the mucous membranes of the mouth and are in the bloodstream in seconds!

CTFO, a company founded in 2015 and heavily invested in the CBD business, previously developed 10X Pure, a process utilizing nanoemulsion technology in their CBD business, which dramatically increased the potency of their CBD product. Now, as of Feb 6, 2023, they are bringing to market their new product, XanthoMyst, which will deliver Xanthone, extracted from Mangosteen Pericarp, using a nanoemulsion process, which will result in a product for inflammation that will be delivered at the cellular level.

The Question

If Nano-emulsion technology solves the problem of delivery to the bloodstream, then what medicament should be isolated and processed as a Nano-emulsion for delivery into the bloodstream for the treatment of inflammation?

The Promise of Mangosteen

α-Mangostin, a xanthone derivative compound isolated from Garcinia mangostana L. peel extract, has myriad pharmacological effects: antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antioxidant, and anticancer activities. The anticancer activity indicates that α-mangostin might serve as a potent anticancer agent in lung, stomach, colon, cervical, pancreatic, prostate, mammary gland, chondrosarcoma, renal, skin, tongue mucoepidermoid and breast cancers. Xanthones are an active ingredient high in phytonutrients and known to significantly reduce inflammation, boost immunity, and provide overall health and weight loss benefits. They are found in the pericarp (rind) of mangosteen, a fruit of the Gardenia mangostana, a tropical tree native to Southeast Asia.

Over 200 xanthones exist in nature and 40+ xanthones, are said to be located in the Xanthone-rich pericarp of the mangosteen fruit. In addition to phytonutrients like xanthones, mangosteen also contains other groups of compounds, including anthocyanins, catechins, and flavonoids, all of which have their own list of studied therapeutic benefits.

It is the anti-inflammatory capabilities of Mangosteen that is of interest in this report. Typically, only 5% of organics are absorbed by the body with 95% going to waste.

A New Product, A New Approach

CTFO, a company with proprietary product lines in Health, Nutrition, Anti-aging, and Pet-Health, has introduced a product that combines mangosteen pericarp extract with nanoemulsion technology to produce a first-of-its-kind delivery system that delivers the mangosteen pericarp extract in a mist, so fine it can’t be swallowed but is immediately absorbed into the tissue within the mouth. Ergo this level of bioavailability was not previously possible.

“Immediately absorbed through the mouth tissue into the bloodstream with maximum bioavailability.”

At this time, this product, XanthMyst, has not been approved by FDA, and can not be sold as a health solution. It can, however, be acquired from CTFO as a “food” in the form of a mist that is sprayed into the mouth.
